VALVALMÜJ is a DJ and sound artist who moves fluidly across melodic, progressive and deep house, while leaning into the more intimate corners of minimal, indie and jackin house. Each set is a narrative journey where introspection becomes movement, where the gothic meets the tropical, and where nostalgia learns to dance.
Nacida en Barranquilla, Colombia, creció con el pulso del Caribe respirando en la piel. Esa sonoridad costeña — cálida, rítmica, sensual — convive en ella con la intensidad urbana que aprendió en Bogotá y con la bohemia contemporánea de Ciudad de México, donde hoy construye su narrativa musical. La fricción entre esos tres territorios da forma a una identidad sin domicilio fijo: latina, nocturna, libre.
Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, she grew up with the pulse of the Caribbean under her skin. That coastal sonority — warm, rhythmic, sensual — coexists with the urban intensity she absorbed in Bogotá, and with the contemporary bohemia of Mexico City, where she is shaping her sonic narrative today. The friction between those three territories shapes an identity without a fixed address: Latin, nocturnal, free.
